Senior Tennis

Whitby Tennis Club offers senior membership options suitable for all players. Whether you wish to play competitively, semi-competitively, or entirely social you will be very welcome. The options available to senior players are; 

  • Social
  • Weekend Interclub
  • Mid-week Evening League
  • Full Membership

Social players are included in club events such as club championships, club days and social events. They can also use the floodlit courts at night, and enter the mid-week evening league as a reserve.

Whitby Tennis Club has weekend interclub teams entered in Regional (Saturday afternoons), Mens (Saturday mornings), and Mixed (Saturday afternoons). All grades commence in October and continue to April the next year.

Mid-week evening tennis is very popular. There is a Monday and Tuesday evening league, both consisting of social doubles.

Two courts have floodlights, and therefore can be used until 10:00pm. We encourage all members playing later into the evening to be mindful of noise levels in consideration to neighbouring residents.
